Carrie

Carrie, it has taken me so long to do this. I’ve struggled with hearing that you are no longer with us. You my friend was a lovely beautiful person who came into our lives for a reason. I shared everything with you. You were such a great friend and the most amazing aunty to our daughter. I know you loved her and loved us. I’m so grateful for the memories we made. We had some amazing times! There was so much I wanted to tell you when we had our catch up. We think about you all the time and when on holiday we met a lovely lady who was into cars and racing and Arun and Jaiya said that she reminded them of you Carrie. I still can’t believe this has happened and can’t imagine what Clayton is going through but there is one thing I know you will always be by Clayton’s side. Carrie our beautiful friend we will always love you and you will forever be in our hearts. Love, Arun, Jyoti & Jaiya xxxx

Well Carrie today is the day we all gather to say goodnight to you. I will cherish my memories, laughter and tears we have shared. Your passing has left a huge void in my heart, gone far too soon, the world is a much duller place without you my beautiful friend. I know I now have a guardian angel, watching over, letting me know you will never be far away. Sleep tight, sweet dreams my beautiful friend xxx

Carrie was such a lovely person to work with . She had such patience when I’d go to her for advice on our accounts system - usually when I’d made an error - and would often say just leave it with me . My last conversation with her was in the kitchen when we both had a really good laugh and that’s how I’ll always remember her .

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Carrie for over 20 years, and it still doesn’t seem real that she isn’t around. Carrie had that special ability to brighten any situation, usually with a smile, a laugh and a bit of banter. You will be hugely missed, Carrie, by so many people. My thoughts and prayers are with Clay and all the family at such a difficult time. Rest in peace X

"Carrie was such a wonderful person, unapologetically herself and one of life's good eggs. She was an amazing friend and colleague who helped me in difficult times personally and always had time for others. You may be gone far too soon but you won't be forgotten."

"Carrie was one of those people who could make everyone smile. She was my work "mum", always looking out for me and keeping me grounded. I'll never forget her sneaking up behind me and flicking my ears when I least expected it. She introduced me to the world of "pink jobs" and "blue jobs", and there was never a dull moment when she was around. She was a great laugh, a genuinely kind person, and I'll miss her loads."

Oh Carrie, I still can't believe you're gone, much too soon my lovely. We've known each other as colleagues for more years than I care to remember (25+ I think) but during the last few years when we worked in the same office you became my lovely friend "around the corner". Sleep tight Carrie xx

Carrie, our sister (never a sister in law) we can't believe you have gone, just doesn't seem real, and our hearts are broken. We will hold so many memories in our hearts of the last 34 years. Dean and I were away a few weeks ago on the Lincolnshire coast, drove somewhere, and I said to Dean, Carrie and I stayed there with the kids, and we took them to that pub for tea. Remember Blackpool when the lads thought it would be funny to switch clothes to try and trick us in their Halloween masks they had brought, but we caught them out because Dean never wore his wedding ring and Clay did and that's one thing they forgot to change. To our girly nights out, and you and Clay surprising Dean Gill and the kids at Anfi dressed in your wigs hats and glasses for the lads 40th birthday. Rome for the lads 50th birthday and then our holiday as a four to Anfi. We've got so many good memories from over the years. You will always be in all our hearts and memories. Our shining star in the sky is watching over us all. We Love you, Carrie xx

Carrie—known lovingly to me as Borglett. To lose someone so bright, so vibrant, and so young is a heartbreak that words can barely hold. When you work alongside someone for years, they stop being just a colleague. They become a constant in your day, a confidant, and a true friend. Carrie was all of those things and so much more. We shared a truly special bond. Through the long hours, the chaotic deadlines, and the everyday triumphs, Carrie was a steady light. She had a rare way of making the hard work feel lighter and the good days feel like a celebration. You couldn't ask for a better partner in the trenches or a better friend to lean on. Carrie lived her life with warmth, generosity, and an infectious spirit that touched everyone around her. Though her time with us was far too short, the depth of her impact cannot be measured in years. It is measured in the laughter we shared, the loyalty she gave, and the mark she left on our lives. Carrie, you may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts. I will carry your memory, your joy, and our bond with me always. Rest in peace, my dear friend. I love you. ❤️

Truly heartbroken that you were taken from us so soon. You welcomed me into the work team and supported me more than you will know. I will miss the Dobbie stories and will always think of you when discussing 'pink jobs' and blue jobs'! Rest easy x

Beautiful Carrie both inside and out. A breath of fresh air. Always smiling and sharing great banter. Always very kind and caring. A beautiful voice at any of our neighbourly social gatherings. A true soul, who wore her heart on her sleeve. We are genuinely gutted at your passing but will hold on to some heartfelt memories: birthday gatherings, barbecues and new year celebrations as well as our trips to Pilates/yoga, where we referred to ourselves as wooden planks. Oh, we really belly laughed. Forever in our 💕 hearts xx

Carrie, You have gone too soon, but left such memories for us all to keep. Myself and John will always smile when we think of you. I met Carrie in 1987 during our Nurse training. Very quickly we connected - I remember you being so full of fun. We became a trio of Dance Divas- you , me and Ruby! We had such good times, tearing up the dancefloor at different clubs. Later on, we were lucky enough to attend your Wedding as your Bridesmaids. You absolutely adored Clay and I did wonder if he would make our Dance trio a quartet. He didn't... You were always so family orientated- putting others first in such a caring way. We will miss you Carrie and will never forget you. All our love, Bridge, John, Hannah, Alec and Jacob xxxxx
