If you are choosing where to keep memories of someone who has died, the differences that matter most are usually what it costs, who can see the page, whether people need an account to contribute, and whether you can take everything with you. Where others may suit you better
MuchLoved. A UK charity, established in 1999, that has run tribute websites since 2006. Everything is free apart from extra storage, and every tribute can have one of more than 150 designs, music and video, and a chosen charity that guests can give to in the person’s name.
Forever Missed. The free plan allows unlimited collaborators and more than 100 themes, and Forever Missed says it never allows ads on any plan.
MyKeeper. Paid plans are a single payment with no subscription, and free memorials never expire. Keeper Concierge adds professional setup of the memorial, one-to-one support and two 30-minute virtual meetings. Event pages include RSVPs, streaming links and guest notifications.

Is Northstar Keep free?
Yes. Each memorial includes 2 GB of photo and video storage and up to 3 editors besides the owner, with no time limit. Keep adds 30 GB, unlimited editors and Facebook import for the memorials you own, for £5 a month or £55 a year. Keep forever gives one memorial the same for a single payment of £200.
Do family and friends need an account to add memories?
No. They open the link you share and add photos, messages and memories. Nobody has to sign up or log in.
Who can see a memorial?
Every memorial starts private, open only to people you share the link with. You can choose to list it on Northstar later.
Can I take everything with me?
Yes. The owner and editors can download a complete archive of a memorial at any time, for free.
Where is the data held?
Our database and files are held in London. Some of our service providers process data outside the UK, and our privacy policy names each one.
